BACKGROUND

Hilton High School Ltd was incorporated on 07th October, 2002 and started         operating in January 2003.

Mr. Wadega Paul is the Director of the School and its run on the foundation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church philosophy. The school is a mixed boarding Secondary School. It has both ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels. It is fully registered with the Ministry of Education and Uganda National Examinations Board under N0. PSS/H/65 and U1612 respectively.

The School is categorized as a diamond institution. It started with 230 students in 2003 and presently has 1,170 students as of Dec, 2024. The School has well equipped science laboratories, library, computer laboratory, adequate classrooms, spacious dormitories, school truck, van and coaster, brass band, to mention but a few.

Hilton High School Mukono is a co-educational boarding secondary institution located on Bukasa Hill, approximately 2 to 3 kilometers from Mukono town along Katosi Road, and about 25 kilometers from Kampala. Established in 2003 by Mr. and Mrs. Wadega, the school operates under the philosophy of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Hilton high school has grown in terms of infrastructure and academic performance including discipline and ranked among the best schools in Mukono town and country at large. It is referred to as a diamond category institution under the head teacher Mr. Katimbo Gordon.

Hilton high school was officially commissioned by His excellence Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Sunday 18th July 2010.
